Ray Rist, President (United States)

Ray has had a distinguished career which includes a range of high profile government and academic appointments. He has been a visiting professor at a several prestigious universities, and has been a consultant to many national and international organisations, including The World Bank, OECD, DFID, IADB, and a range of corporations, House and Senate committees in the United States. The focus of much of this consulting has been on public sector performance, especially that of results based management and measurement, and he has been an advisor to senior government officials in more than 50 countries.
Ray is co-director of the International program for Development Evaluation Training (IPDET). He has authored or edited 26 books and has authored more than 140 articles and monographs.

Susan Tamondong, Vice President (Philippines)
Sue has over twenty years of professional experience in developing countries and a proven ability to work effectively in complex situations and diverse cultures. She combines research and analytical ability with effective managerial and communication skills. She has worked with United Nations in three countries, multilateral and regional development banks (World Bank, ADB, IADB), AUSAID, MCC, international consulting companies, government and academia. She is currently a freelance international consultant.

Maureen Woodhouse: Treasurer (Canada)

Maureen is currently Acting Director and Program Manager for  International Activities at Saint Mary’s University, Halifax, Canada. Prior to this, she worked in the department as a project manager for 14 years. She has over 16 years of experience working in international development project management, much of it within the context of post-secondary education. This experience has encompassed four main areas:
- Training overseas and Canadian clients in project management and project monitoring and evaluation 

- Monitoring and evaluating international development projects 
- Managing international development projects in a variety of sectors, including post-secondary education, gender, environment 
- Proposal preparation and project design for a variety of international funding agencies.

Linda Morra-Imas: Secretary (United States)

Linda currently heads her own consulting firm, acting as an independent consultant to the Independent Evaluation Group of the World Bank, the Inter-American Development Bank, AusAid, China Ministry of Finance, and others for training and other ECD services. She has thirty years experience in designing, conducting, and managing policy, program and project evaluations, both nationally and internationally; she also has twenty years experience as an advisor and trainer on M & E in both the developing and developed country contexts and as the Creator, Co-Director, and Core Faculty for the International Program for Development Evaluation (IPDET) - the standard against which other programs benchmark.

Rashmi Agrawal (India)

Dr. Rashmi Agrawal is Director in the Institute of Applied Manpower Research- a think tank of Planning Commission, Govt. of India, New Delhi. She has a Ph.D in Psychology from Lucknow University, India, and later specialized in Rehabilitation & Counseling from the University of California, USA. Dr. Agrawal has long experience as a trainer and researcher in the field of Monitoring and Evaluation,Education, Employment and other social issues, notably Gender Issues and Street Children.

Nurul Alam (Bangladesh)

Before his retirement from the United Nations, Mr Nurul Alam held the post of Deputy Director of the Evaluation Office of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in New York from 2000 – 2009. Concurrently, he held the position of Executive Secretary of the United Nations Evaluation Group(UNEG). UNEG is the professional association of evaluators from forty-five UN countries. He is well networked in the global evaluation Community and contributed substantially in debates on contemporary evaluation and assessment issues. Mr Alam is an Adjunct Professor of Columbia University in New York, He also offers advisory consulting services as a development evaluator to multi-lateral and bi-lateral development organisations and national governments.

Sonia Ben Jaafar (Canada)
Dr. Sonia Ben Jaafar is the Director of EduEval Educational Consultancy, a professional services company based in the UAE that promotes sustainable educational development focused on student learning. She integrates applied research and evaluation for educational improvement and effectiveness at all levels in the system. Her work in the private, public, and NGO sectors is rooted in using evidence-informed decision making from the classroom to the boardroom. Prior to her overseas work, Dr. Ben Jaafar worked in the Deputy Minister’s Office in the Ontario Ministry of Education supporting the successful implementation of major reforms across 5,000 schools.

Florence Etta (Kenya)

Florence has had comprehensive international and development experience including evaluation research and assessment; data analysis; and program and policy analysis. She has worked as a Consultant for many organisations including UNICEF, USAID, Rockefeller Foundation, Ford Foundation and IDRC on a number of multidisciplinary research and evaluation projects. She has been extensively involved in capacity building and in project and NGO management, and has had over 15 years of experience in academia as a lecturer and trainer in tertiary educational institutions in Nigeria. Florence has authored and edited 8 books/monographs and has authored a wide range of publications.

Ziad Moussa (Lebanon)

Ziad is Senior Associate, Environment and Sustainable Development Unit of the American University of Beirut (AUB-ESDU) and a freelance consultant. He has consulted and/or trained on short, medium and long term basis in various development projects covering the entire Middle East and North Africa countries  and the Mediterranean countries involved in the Euro-Med process, as well as significant parts of the African Continent, working directly with international donors such as IDRC, the EU, the World Bank, UNDP, IFAD and FAO or through EU and US based consultancy firms. He also facilitated conferences and multistakeholders networking and advocacy events in more than 30 countries in the five continents in a variety of development and intercultural topics.

Pablo Rodriguez-Bilella (Argentina)

Pablo is a consulting sociologist, with 15 years of progressively   responsible positions in applied and academic social sciences:  evaluation, planning, community participation, and programme management. Pablo has specialized in evaluation of rural development programmes. He is experienced in bridging   evaluation research and policy by interdisciplinary work, and interested in linking issues of relevance and applicability with   high standards of evaluation quality. His professional work experience includes consulting work for the World Bank, Argentine Government, and the LENTISCO Network (Latin  America-European Network for Technology Innovation Studies and Co-Development, financed by the EU).
